Hoyo Sake Pairing Dinner Event
Explore the Pairing Possibilities of Hoyo Sake from Uchigasaki Brewery, the Oldest Brewing Company in Miyagi Prefecture

Brought to you from Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture, this international award-winning sake has more than 350 years of history. Sakuemon Uchigasaki launched the family’s brewing company in 1661, and 18 generations later, they still produce their hand-crafted Hoyo Sake that the locals love. From smooth and subtle to floral to full flavor, chilled selections carefully paired with six courses of Japanese dishes invite attendees to enjoy the breadth and complexity of sake flavors while experiencing the unique traits of Hoyo and learning about the traditions of the brewery.

  • Guests will be treated to a live introduction of Hoyo Sake Brewery and each sake selection by Mr. Tassho Pearce from World Sake Imports.
  • Available sake tastings include Sawayaka, Kura no Hana, Mana Musume, Yamada Nishiki, and Genji from Hoyo Sake of Uchigasaki Shuzo in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
  • A 6-course dinner featuring dishes that pair well with these 5 sake will be prepared by our executive chef. Please notify the restaurant ahead of time of any dietary restrictions, as it may be possible to arrange a substitute.
